About the conference

20 years ago, the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities was published. Since then, Open Access has increasingly become an integral part of scientific practice and research-supporting work.

Under the motto 'Shaping Visions', participants were invited to the Open Access Days 2023 from September 27-29, 2023 at the Freie Universität, Berlin. The event was fully booked with a total of 452 participants.
