The Open Access Days 2023 will take place on the campus of Freie Universität (FU) in Berlin-Dahlem. The conference will take place in lecture halls and in the seminar centre at Rost- und Silberlaube. The main conference entrance can be reached via the Thielallee/Otto-von-Simson-Straße entrance (northwest corner of the building complex).

The nearest public transport stops are the bus stops "Löhleinstraße" (buses 110, M11) and "Hittorfstraße" (bus M11) and the underground station "Freie Universität (Thielplatz)" (U3).

The underground stations "Dahlem-Dorf" and "Freie Universität (Thielplatz)" are located on campus. The underground line U3 runs along both stations, towards the conference in the direction of "Krumme Lanke" (out of the city centre) and from the conference in the direction of "Warschauer Straße" (towards the city centre).The "Ringbahn" (S41/S42) is connected to the U3 via the station "Heidelberger Platz". The S-Bahn line runs in two directions: Clockwise it has the number S41, counterclockwise S42.

Two bus lines run from Dahlem-Dorf: X83 (towards Nahmitzer Damm or Lichtenrade) and M11 (towards Schöneweide). The following S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines can be reached by these buses:

• S1 (Rathaus Steglitz with X83, Lichterfelde West with M11).
• S2 (Lankwitz with X83)
• S25 (Lichterfelde East with M11)
• U9 (Rathaus Steglitz with X83)

Travel times:

•  Central stations in Berlin city centre (Zoologischer Garten, Hauptbahnhof, Friedrichstraße, Alexanderplatz): about 30-45 minutes.
•  Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER), with bus lines M11 and X71 (change at the Mariendorfer Damm/Buckower Chaussee stop): about 75-90 minutes.
